The Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Training was separated from the Faculty of Medicine of Wroclaw Medical University on May 25, 1992. Since its establishment, 503 doctoral dissertation have been submitted to obtain the degree of doctor of medicine and 59 PhD dissertations. The Presidents of Poland have awarded 39 Faculty research workers a professor’s degree since 1992.
